Meet Sharon
The Sharonicles is a blog that has gone viral on more than one occasion for its light-hearted views on all things ‘travel’.
Here you will find helpful tips on South African travel (from a local), cruise travel (from the perspective of an ex-cruise ship crew member) and international travel (from someone who has travelled to 58 countries on a crew member / South African budget.) The author is also a little obsessed with uncovering and "Sharonicling" hidden gems and offbeat adventures in her hometown of Cape Town.
Sharon photographs a plastic flamingo called 'Rodrigo' on her adventures because it seemed like a good idea in 2009 and 54 countries later, it’s probably too late to turn back now.
She also likes unicorns, carbs and referring to herself in third-person.
